Gurumaa was originally called Gurpreet Kaur Grover by birth. She was born in 1966 in the golden town of Amritsar in the state of Punjab in India. She has one brother and 2 sisters and is the second oldest among them. She’s a rich family which originally moved from Gujranwala, Pakistan during Partition (in 1947).
