Asin Biography, Relationship & Career
Asin took her first education from course LKG to 10th standard from Naval Public School and jumped to St. Teresa’s School for finished her higher secondary schooling at Kerala. After that, Asin took admission to St. Teresa’s College in Kochi and completed her degree of Bachelor of Arts with English Literature subject. Throughout her research, she has a keen interest in acting so she always engaged in theater activities.
Throughout her education, she saw in BPL Mobile advertisement at age 15. In 2001, she picks acting professionally and introduced her career with “Narendran Makan Jayakanthan” Malayalam movie. Following that, the actress took a lengthy break from films to complete her graduation. Then came back with Telugu movie” Amma Nanna O Tamila Ammayi”. In this picture, Asin played the character of a Tamil woman against Ravi Teja (celebrity ). This movie was a super hit and the celebrity got Telugu Filmfare Award for Best Actress. This was the start of her achievement, she attained Santosam Best Actress Award in the same year for the movie “Shivamani”. In this movie, she’s depicted alongside Akkineni Nagarjuna.
Furthermore, the actress did not stop and gave superhit films such as “Gharshana” (2004), “Lakshmi Narasimha” (2004), “Chakram” (2005), etc. The gorgeous actress also revealed her magical of acting in the Hindi film industry and began her first movie “Ghajini” in 2008 opposite Aamir Khan (famous actor). The film was super hit and got the name of a blockbuster. This was the only first Hindi movie that brought around 1 billion in earnings. Aside from that, the actress did lots of other superhit films in Hindi cinema such as “Ready” with Salman Khan (actor), “Houseful two”, “All is Well” (2015), etc.

She had been born to Joseph Thottumkal and Seline Thottumkal. They have a daughter called Arin Sharma (Born on 24-10-2017).
