Gautam hails from Delhi and did his schooling from Army Public School, Delhi & gained an Amount from Bhagat Singh College at Delhi. His father was a stock-broker and wanted his son to continue his career in his company but he had another fate so he chose to become an actor and a leading model.
Rode introduced himself to Indian television using the serial Jahan Pyaar Mile in the year 1995. In 2002, he made his debut with a small role in Bollywood with the film Annarth co-starred Sunil Shetty, Sanjay Dutt, and Preeti Jhangiani.
Looking at his star power, Rode was roped into anchor India’s Got Talent alongside Meiyang Chang. In addition, he hosted Nach Baliye. He played the principal part of Saraswatichandra in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s series Saraswatichandra for which he was praised for delivering outstanding performance.
He got the enormous attention of the crowd for portraying Karn in Suryaputra Karn.
He had been born to Surendra Rode & Sangita Rode. He has a sister called Rashi. He’s married to Television celebrity Pankhuri Awasthy in 2018.
