His interest in acting began at a really young age. He made his acting debut with the Telugu movie Jayam in 2002. The movie was a smash hit and instantly made Nithin a renowned personality from the Telugu film industry. For this movie, he also got the best male introduction award. He gave the following hit in Sri Anjaneyam in 2004.
After which he gave a series of flop films but was not short of roles. He reinvented himself with these movies and was also nominated for the Best Actor awards for Ishq and Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde. The biggest hit movie of Nithin profession is A Aa published in 2016. The movie failed to make an impact in the box-office. The movie was also dubbed in Telugu.
