Yukta Mookhey Biography, Relationship & Career
Yukta Mookhey lived in the Middle East before age 7 until she returned to Mumbai where she was born. Before engaging in the prestigious Miss World Competition, she studied Zoology. After which, she took Hindustani classical music courses and completed a diploma in Computer Science as well. This paved her way to the acting and modeling industry. Three decades later, she left her Bollywood film debut opposite Aftab Shivdasani from the movie named Pyaasa. The movie was a tragedy at the box-office and she also was criticized for her acting. After which, she also left an interest in taking many supplies. Three decades later, she appeared in a movie titled Katputli which again was a tragedy.
She subsequently made a brief appearance in the movie Love In Japan and did an Assamese movie titled Kab Kahaba Tu I Love You. Her final movie was Memsahab – Lost In A Mirage. All her movies failed and she decided to give up the industry. She has also participated in various charitable organizations and donated her eyes. She officially joined the political party, BJP (Bhartiya Janta Party) in the year 2004.
She had been born to Inderlal Mookhey and Aruna Mookhey. She registered an FIR against her husband in 2013 citing domestic violence. The couple finally divorced in the year 2014.
